Lee Martin Senior Mortgage & Protection Adviser

My journey into financial services began in 1993 when I first came across a pension adviser who opted me out of Serps, I remember he explained everything to me without any 'sales techniques', it was this encounter that made me start looking into financial matters.

This led me to explore a role with abbey Life in early 1998, qualifying with the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC) followed up quickly in the early 2000's with the Mortgage Advice Qualification (MAQ).

I set up my own mortgage brokerage shortly thereafter and eventually had a break from the industry for a few years in 2011, coming back to work for my friend Martin Beever in 2016 here at Winstanley Mortgages. I've tried to work to my motto ever since......... 'would I take the advice I am giving?'
